Time... Does it Really Exist?

Einstein argued that time does not really exist...
As you wait for it, it is in the future, and the moment it arrives, it is already in the past.

I have noticed that sometimes it goes by fast, and other times tortuously slow.
Each day I leave work is another day closer to the celebrated and anticipated weekend.
Each Sunday means the next day I have to go back to work on Monday and begin again.
Children are adults, and grandchildren are growing up so fast!

Each year, the months stream by bringing summer, fall and winter again. I blink and miss spring!
Every birthday may be only another day, but truly marks the passage of time.

This summer, once it is gone, represents the loss of one of the few summers left in our lives
How many summers will be have before we are too old or lose our health and cannot enjoy them?
How many more years will Dave and I have together before one of us is called Home?

I believe time was created for us to linearly mark its passage and measure our progress.
I believe that once on the other side of the veil, our understanding and use of time will be very different. I believe it is actually fluid and more of a tool than the ruler it is to us now.

So, does time really exist? My answer would be, "Yes, and no. It depends."

Sounds like an answer from my Business Law class....
